Resolving disputes and punishment in accordance with the laws revealed by Allah S.W.T is an obligation for all Muslims. The implementation of Islamic law requires a strong and stable judicial system. In the context of Brunei Darussalam, the Syariah courts are the backbone and implementers of the enforcement of Islamic law.

The Friday sermon titled "Upholding Justice, Ensuring Prosperity" also emphasized that for a country, it is appropriate to respect the implementation of Islamic law to ensure its residents from infringing on the rights of others and violating the limits of prohibitions and restrictions. It is also a source of defence strength or the country's stronghold in ensuring peace, justice and prosperity.

The implementation of Islamic the syariah judiciary can ensure the existence of stability of government and national politics as well as reduces the prevalence of crime. With the existence of a society and population that each practices and adheres to the appreciation of Islamic law in doing good and avoiding evil or every prohibition will lead to Ishlah and avoid anything that leads to destruction in life. Thus, there will be security, prosperity, peace in life and national and social justice.
